this is better for multiple reasons such as:
from my experience, it's much funner to play with mates than it is to play with randoms, with this idea, you keep the benefits of learning from other people without having no one you know/like to play with
also, from my experience, a lot of newer guys tend not to talk much on vent when 'better' guys are around, which is obviously not a good thing, I think this would be a little bit different if they had one of their mates on there too
also, its much easier to organise thefinal teams, as well as that I think you're more likely to get people interested by letting them play with a mate, rather than just saying that they will play with 3 guys they have never really met

I find Almost Lost a very balanced map for CA, and hidden fortress, I just really like that map and how it looks and moving around it..
Quarintine is good, but asylum bad bad, it's just so open to RL spam

It is why I like those maps more than asylum, it is too open and people just +fwd at you and spam rockets, or just keep doing +back and railing. Hidden fortress and dm6 is one of the few maps where you can actually strategise in CA.
