  Raising funds for Asian IEM

Hello again guys and girls. It has been great to see everybody supporting the community over the last few months and especially great to see the international community taking notice after our Quakecon efforts. Asian IEM is coming up in a few months and personal tournament liaison, Michal "Carmac" Blicharz, has informed me that he will do his best to allow 4 players from Australian/New Zealand to compete in the event. Daniel "dandaking" De Sousa is well looked after by ArchaicMSI who have basically secured his trip to Asia, but I would really like to make the most of this opportunity for the whole Aus/NZ community.

Expressing some interest for IEM Asia is players like Cha Cha (python), Zenaku (who can go), Zealor and ofcourse Ventz. The competition will once again be open to qualifying patrons from the one day duel competitions.

With this in mind, I would like to give you guys the opportunity to support this community directly. I have put together an estimate of cost for one player to be flown to the event who will be chosen in similar format to the ArchaicMSI Quakecon Draft. I don't expect any heroes, but for those who are interested in helping out the game you love, now is your chance. Additionally, anyone who donates over $25 is entitled to a 4sg shirt should you want to receive one.

Hopefully, together we can reach the target and get a few more Australian and New Zealand players on the map in the international scene :) That's it from me!

That's right folks FINALS TIME :D
We've seen Cypher take out the ASUS Cup and Quakecon, K1llsen take out Gamescom, Australia to take out Asian IEM Finals *cough what?*

First of all, Freezetag
Will be pushed back until after ALL DUEL IS COMPLETE (hopefully 2 weeks from now), and yes there will be divisions, and I am reasonably happy with the amount of teams that signed up and I hope everybody makes it a great season!

Division 1 Finals
Incredible match between Zealor and Zenaku, as always, left us down to the final map in a very exciting Semi Final turn, vods will be up very soon. Now we have Rep who's getting his feel right to play zpnq and ofcourse the winner who runs into a very determined Ventz in the Semi Finals. My expected outcome is for seed 1 and 2 to match up accordingly in the finals in which we will see Ventz take out the game in a cool and calm 3 maps. You wonder why I say this, and really only he knows why.. because he doesn't have any other choice.

Division 2 Finals
The underbellys of everyday dueling we get to see Fraze jumping through his epic "grand final matchup" between bbbx who forfieted for work-load reasons. Roschach out to prove his point and in the upper half old school Blinja who nobody has ever seen duel taking on the 2goodest rikilee aka Rkng. My expected finals will be Rkng vs Fraze with Fraze to win in an exciting match 3-2 to the Seasons 1 Division 4 duel competition winner.

Division 3 Finals
Camahawk looking confident as ever claiming his personal achievement of having the best rail in Division 3, I would say Cretin aka Flipulehhh would have had something to say about that had my Admins and experienced community members not been ontop of the situation before the tournament even started. Redlike blood plays b0rty on Wednesday night 10pm (if you can stay up that late) and the winner takes on a very impressive Aryz who was pushed through due to the Cretin situation and convincingly beat a very nervous fakerAU last night. Expected finals match up, I STILL DON'T KNOW! Camahawk will be the top half winner because darkn3sss has already sold himself short, but the bottom half I couldn't tell you what the deal... really anybodys final to be won. But Camahawk has to win Division 3 and Fraze to win Division 2 or their brotherly agreement will never be reached.

Division 4 Finals
Pistolpete seems like he's in incredible form coming into this final series taking on unFKNnamed in the semi finals, whom got a fairly easy run to a miss-fortunate miicah who was absent on the weekend. Stormfront taking on the top seed for the division pretty comfortably will move onto lisaneedsbraces and then more then likely into a finals matchup versus pistol pete. Who are these people? I don't know but it's going to be great getting to know them all in tournaments to come!

My Final Word
Thank you for everybody who participated and played their matches in the tournament. We will be undergoing major self relections to help drum out forfeits and lengthy tournament play, if you have any suggestions jump into #4sgs and talk to the admins openly. Freezetag will basically be a time killer and a ready-up for the TDM tournament to follow but everybody should be very excited to hear that IEM Asia is only around the corner and we will be sending player(s) to represent our community and our region ;) So sit back, chill out and embrase in the pugs, the pubs and the streams 8-)
